What is the CALIUM converter?

The CALIUM converter allows Pioneers to convert and extract pod items acquired within the metaverse into CALIUM.

In front of Origin City Hall stands a large CALIUM converter developed by the CALIVERSE Research Lab. This converter securely contains a massive, unrefined CALIUM crystal. Currently, the only existing original version of the CALIUM converter is located at Origin City Hall.

What is the CALIUM converter control panel?

The control panel of the CALIUM converter is located around the main body where the massive crystal is stored. It consists of 16 props arranged in a configuration and operates by inserting pods. When a pod is placed into the control panel, it is absorbed and disappears, granting CALIUM based on the amount of particles contained in the pod. The quantity of CALIUM obtained can fluctuate according to the incentive policies implemented by the New Earth government. However, the CALIVERSE Laboratory has reported that certain pods have a higher expected value.

Once particle extraction is complete, the CALIUM crystal undergoes refinement, and the CALIUM is then delivered to the user.

Where can I go to use the CALIUM converter?

  1. Move to the CALIUM converter Square located near the south side of Origin Tower.

  1. Approach the converter control panel after arriving at the CALIUM converter Square.

  1. Click on the [Convert CALIUM] tab on the converter control panel.

  1. A window will appear allowing you to convert your pod items into CALIUM. You can consume sapphires by Pod to acquire CALIUM.

What is the CALIUM conversion rate per Pod?

At 100% conversion efficiency, the CALIUM conversion rate per Pod varies by grade as follows: Since sapphires do not exist in decimal units, any decimal values are rounded up. Therefore, the number of sapphires required may differ depending on the number of Pods being converted.

Example: If you convert 3 "316 Pod" simultaneously, 0.5×3=1.5 → 2 Sapphire required

  • The daily CALIUM charging capacity of the CALIUM Converter acts as a reward element for users' participation in the metaverse.

  • It represents the amount of in-game free assets that can be converted into paid assets on a first-come, first-served basis during metaverse play.

  • The daily CALIUM charging capacity fluctuates and increases based on the volume of CALIUM issued as paid assets.

Rules for Daily CALIUM Charging in the CALIUM Converter

  • The amount of CALIUM that can be extracted daily from the CALIUM Converter is defined as the daily CALIUM charging capacity.

  • If the daily CALIUM charging capacity is not fully used on the same day, the remaining amount is carried over and accumulated for the next day.

  • The current daily CALIUM charging capacity is fixed at 479.92 and is updated daily at 00:00 UTC.

  • The current conversion efficiency of the CALIUM Converter is set at a fixed rate of 100%.

How is the conversion efficiency of the CALIUM Converter determined?

Before the CALIUM Exchange opens, the conversion efficiency of the CALIUM Converter is fixed at 100%. After the CALIUM Exchange opens, the conversion efficiency will fluctuate according to the formula below.

If the calculated result is 0.5 or lower, it is set to a minimum of 0.5.

Inflation Weight Adjustment

  • As the Inflation Weight increases, Conversion Efficiency decreases.

  • Since the cost of acquiring CALIUM increases, the acquisition cost of CALIUM through the reward-based CALIUM Converter also increases.

Adjustment Based on CALIUM Allocation in the CALIUM Converter

  • If the actual allocated CALIUM volume in the CALIUM Converter for an Epoch exceeds the basic allocated volume, the Conversion Efficiency increases.

  • As the CALIUM volume allocated as a reward has increased, the Conversion Efficiency is increased, which lowers the CALIUM acquisition cost in the CALIUM Converter.

Minimum Conversion Efficiency Guarantee

  • If the Conversion Efficiency falls below 0.5, it is set to a minimum of 0.5 to maintain stability.

The Relationship Between Daily CALIUM Charging amount and CALIUM Eco-System in CALIUM Converter

  • Since no additional CALIUM will be issued through paid issuance, the daily CALIUM charging amount will remain fixed value.

  • The conversion efficiency will also be fixed at 100%

  • As additional CALIUM may be issued through paid issuance, the daily CALIUM charging amount will reflect this increase.

  • The conversion efficiency will fluctuate according to the formula provided above.

The CALIUM Exchange update is scheduled to open within the first quarter of 2025.
