CALIVERSE Creator Policy
Article 1. Purpose
This CALIVERSE Creator Policy (hereinafter the "Creator Policy") aims to specifically regulate matters delegated by the "CALIVERSE Terms and Conditions" (hereinafter the "Terms and Conditions") regarding CALIVERSE, a realistic digital virtual community platform enabling a distributed multi-access experience, created and provided by CALIVERSE Inc. (hereinafter the "Company") to its members.
Article 2. Basic Policy, etc.
① The Company provides prompt and consistent services based on the Creator Policy and strives to protect Creator Members (hereinafter the "Creators") and User Members (hereinafter, collectively the “Members” when including Creators and User Members), and guides Creators on the basic essential information they need to know while using the Creator service.
② Matters not specified in this Creator Policy shall follow the Terms and Conditions, Service Policy, relevant laws and regulations, and other general commercial practices.

Article 3. Rights of Creators
① Creators acquire the right to use the Creator Software and Creator Service (hereinafter the "Creator Service") provided by the Company on the official web page for content production, and to utilize the assets included therein
② Creators can create content that includes BEACON design, UGQ (User Generate Quest) scenarios (including synopsis, story, plot, and script), interior design, DJing, etc.
③ The copyright of various contents produced by Creators based on the content and assets provided by the Company or utilizing the Creator Service belongs to the Company. However, the Creator has the authority to provide, manage, modify, or discontinue the content to other users within CALIVERSE.
④ The copyright of content either created without utilizing the content, assets, or Creator Services provided by the Company, or content for which Creators already hold the copyright, belongs to the Creators.
⑤ If Creators determine that others have infringed their rights, they can request measures through the CALIVERSE support center.
⑥ Creators can designate whether the provided content is free or paid when used by User Members. When providing paid content, Creators can earn and accumulate Creator Points at a rate determined by the Company.
⑦ Creators can use the accumulated Creator Points for activities that assist content creation. The uses of Creator Points may be expanded or modified, in which case detailed information will be notified to Members.
⑧ The Company may provide transaction volume information about content to the Creator, which can be utilized during production.
Article 4. Responsibilities of Creators
① Creators must comply with all policies implemented in relation to CALIVERSE, including the Terms and Conditions, Service Policy, Privacy Policy, Paid Service Policy, and Creator Policy.
② Although information-providing activities may be permitted, Creators shall not use the Creator Service, assets, templates, and other content for profit-making purposes on platforms outside CALIVERSE without the Company's consent. Infringement of the intellectual property rights of the Company and third parties contracted by the Company may be subject to legal measures in accordance with relevant laws.
③The Company has the authority to reproduce, modify, adapt, perform, display, broadcast, distribute, rent, publicly transmit, create derivative works, or withdraw content completed and published by Creators to promote its use and transactions inside and outside CALIVERSE. However, if Creators request to discontinue the use of content for justifiable reasons, prompt measures will be taken.
④ Creators should ensure that the content they produce does not include bugs or limitations, and if unexpected problems occur, they should actively modify them according to the Company's request. If modifications are delayed without justifiable reasons or refused, the Company may discontinue the publication of the content. In this case, Creators can either make the required modifications or provide a justification for the delay and request to have the content republished. ⑤ Care should be taken to ensure that the content does not include elements that violate relevant laws such as the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc." and the "Copyright Act." If there is a request to discontinue posting due to a violation or if elements potentially infringing on others' rights are identified, the Company may immediately take measures such as discontinuing content publication, deleting or temporarily/permanently suspending accounts, along with other usage restrictions.
⑥ Creators acknowledge that User Members may use the content in ways different from their intended purpose or method, may misunderstand it, and the Company may immediately take measures such as discontinuing content publication, deletion, or temporarily/ permanent suspension of accounts, along with additional usage restrictions for significant misuse or policy violations.
⑦ Despite prior notice and measures taken by the Company regarding Paragraphs 4 to 6 of this Article (and not limited to these), the Company shall not bear any claims for compensation or civil/criminal liability arising from Creators infringing on others' rights or causing damage due to reasons attributable to them, and Creators shall take all necessary measures to indemnify the Company.
⑧ Creators agree that even after their content has been traded with other members within the CALIVERSE service, or if the content provision is discontinued or the contract with the Company is terminated, the traded content may be used without additional cost.
⑨ If there are requests for refunds due to other members' withdrawal of offers or other reasons (such as withdrawal of offers for content discontinued due to policy violations, or creator content different from thumbnail descriptions) for the content you submitted, measures such as refunds may be taken in accordance with the "Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.," and the amount of Creator Points provided may vary accordingly. If there are no recoverable Creator Points, it may result in a negative balance, which will be deducted from future earnings.
Article 5. Restrictions on Creator Content
① The Company may take measures related to service use if the criteria specified in the Terms and Conditions, Service Policy, and Creator Policy are violated to protect Creators and User Members.
② When the Company takes usage restriction measures for reasons attributable to Creators, the Creator involved shall be notified via email. However, in the event where urgent measures are needed, such as interference with smooth platform operation or destruction of the platform environment, the notification may be sent afterwards.
③ If content is produced or published that includes Creator Service usage restrictions, temporary measures (non-display, deletion, etc.) of the work and usage restrictions may be applied without notice.
[Restrictions When Using Creator Service]
1. These restrictions apply to the production and use of all elements included in Creator content (including but not limited to content names, BEACON names, images, music, videos, quest scenarios, designs, etc.).
2. Professional managers determine detailed content and judgment of restriction for each item.
Profanity/Vulgar Expressions
Content containing expressions of profanity, slander, or insult is prohibited.
Hate Speech or Discriminatory Expressions
Content that includes sexual slurs, racial discrimination or other forms of hate speech is strictly prohibited.
Disruption of Service
Actions that intentionally interfere with others' use of the service are forbidden.
Interference with Operations
Impersonation, spreading false information, or other activities that disrupt the Company’s operations are prohibited.
Unauthorized Advertising/Spamming
Repeated posting of unauthorized advertisements or spamming that disrupts the service is not allowed, except when explicitly permitted by a separate contract.
Violation of Youth Protection Laws
Content that includes harmful media, drugs, establishments, or other elements in violation of youth protection laws is not allowed.
Gambling and Speculative Content
Content involving gambling or speculative elements, even if unintended, is prohibited.
Cash transactions
Acts of trading cash (goods) or services outside the service are not permitted.
Account Trading
Acts of trading accounts or owned content outside the service are not permitted.
Infringement of Others' Rights
Content that infringes on others' legal rights, such as personal information protection, intellectual property rights, publicity rights, is forbidden.
Misuse of Personal Information
Acts of stealing or leaking others' personal information are strictly prohibited.
Identity Theft
Using someone else’s personal information for registration or service access is not allowed.
Exploitation of Bugs or Glitches
Taking unfair advantage of bugs or glitches is prohibited.
Creation of Unauthorized Programs
Creating or distributing unauthorized software, private servers, or related tools is forbidden.

※ Even if not explicitly stated in the above descriptions, usage may be restricted if elements include content or actions with intentions that are abnormal or uncommon by social norms.
Article 6. Creator Account Withdrawal
When Creators terminate (withdraw from) the CALIVERSE usage contract in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, the CALIVERSE Creator Service will also be discontinued along with the CALIVERSE service.
1. Content created and published by Creators may be deactivated within 7 days.
2. All Creator Points held by Creators will be forfeited and cannot be transferred to other accounts.
Article 7. Amendment
① The Company may amend this Creator Policy to provide smooth service.
② When the Company amends the Creator Policy, it shall notify Members of the application date, amended content, and reasons for amendment at least 7 days before the application date through the method specified in Article 8 (Notification to Members) of the Terms and Conditions. However, if the changed content is unfavorable to Creators and User Members (hereinafter the "Members" when referring to both) or involves significant changes, they will be notified up to 30 days before the application date.
Addendum
(Date of effect) This policy will be effective as of 29th September, 2024
