CALIVERSE Creator Policy

Article 1. Purpose

This CALIVERSE Creator Policy (hereinafter the "Creator Policy") aims to specifically regulate matters delegated by the "CALIVERSE Terms and Conditions" (hereinafter the "Terms and Conditions") regarding CALIVERSE, a realistic digital virtual community platform enabling a distributed multi-access experience, created and provided by CALIVERSE Inc. (hereinafter the "Company") to its Members.

Article 2. Basic Policy, etc.

1. The Company provides prompt and consistent services based on this Creator Policy, strives to protect Creator Members (hereinafter the “Creators”) and non-Creator User Members (hereinafter, collectively the “Members” when including both Creators and User Members), and provides Creators with the essential information they need to know when using the Creator Service.

2. Matters not specified in this Creator Policy shall follow the Terms and Conditions, Service Policy, relevant laws and regulations, and general commercial practices. [Link to CALIVERSE Terms and Conditions] [Link to CALIVERSE Service Policy]

Article 3. Rights of Creators

1. Creators acquire the right to use the Creator Software and Creator Service (hereinafter the "Creator Service") provided by the Company on the official website for content production, and to utilize the assets included therein.

2. Creators can create content that includes BEACON design, UGQ (User Generated Quest) scenarios (including synopsis, story, plot, and script), interior design, DJing, etc.

3. The copyright of any content created by Creators based on the content and assets provided by the Company or through the use of the Creator Service belongs to the Company. However, Creators retain the authority to provide, manage, modify, or discontinue such content for other Members within CALIVERSE.

4. If a Creator produces content without using the Company’s content, assets, or Creator Service, or if the Creator already holds copyright to content, the copyright shall remain with the Creator.

5. If Creators determine that others have infringed their rights, they can request measures through the CALIVERSE support center.

6. Creators may designate whether provided content is free or paid. When providing paid content, Creators may earn and accumulate Creator Points at a ratio determined by the Company.

7. Creators may use accumulated Creator Points for activities that support content creation. The use of Creator Points may be expanded or modified, in which case detailed information will be notified to Creators.

8. The Company may provide transaction volume information of content supplied by Creators to the Creator, who may then use it for producing other content.

Article 4. Responsibilities of Creators

1. Creators must comply with all policies implemented in relation to CALIVERSE, including the Terms and Conditions, Service Policy, Privacy Policy, Paid Service Policy, and Creator Policy.

2. Creators may engage in activities on external platforms using content that includes Creator Service assets and templates without the Company’s consent, as long as such activities are solely for informational purposes. However, such content shall not be used for any commercial purposes, and infringements of the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties may be subject to action under applicable laws.

3. The Company has the authority to reproduce, modify, adapt, perform, display, broadcast, distribute, rent, publicly transmit, or withdraw content completed and published by Creators to promote its use and transactions inside and outside CALIVERSE. However, if Creators request to discontinue the use of content for justifiable reasons, prompt measures will be taken.

4. Creators must ensure that their content does not include bugs or limitations. If unforeseen issues occur, they must actively correct them upon the Company’s request. If modification is unduly delayed or refused without valid reasons, the Company may suspend publication of the content. In such cases, the Creator may request reinstatement by correcting the content or clarifying the reason for delay.

5. Creators must exercise due care to ensure that their content does not contain any elements that violate the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection,” the “Copyright Act,” or other relevant laws. If a request is made to suspend the posting or disclosure of content on the grounds of such violations, or if elements that may infringe the rights of others are identified, the Company may immediately suspend the disclosure of or delete the content, or take usage restriction measures such as temporary or permanent suspension of the Creator’s account.

6. Creators acknowledge that Members may use content in ways not intended by the Creator or that the content may be misinterpreted, and agree that, in cases of serious misuse or policy violations by Members, the Company may immediately suspend or delete the content, or restrict such Member accounts temporarily or permanently.

7. Notwithstanding the Company’s prior notice and actions pursuant to Paragraphs 4 through 6 of this Article or any other relevant provisions, if a Creator, for reasons attributable to them, infringes upon the rights of others or causes damage, the Company shall not bear any liability for claims for damages or civil/criminal responsibility unless caused by its willful misconduct or negligence. In such cases, the Creator shall, at their own responsibility and expense, take all necessary measures to indemnify the Company.

8. Creators agree that once content they produced has been transacted with a Member within CALIVERSE, that Member may continue to use the transacted content without additional cost, even if the Creator discontinues providing the content or terminates their contract with the Company.

9. If another Member requests a refund for Creator content due to withdrawal of purchase (including but not limited to violations of policy, discrepancies between thumbnails and content, etc.), the Company may process refunds pursuant to the “Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.” As a result, the number of Creator Points granted may be adjusted. If no recoverable Creator Points remain, the shortfall may be deducted from the Creator’s future earnings.

Article 5. Restrictions on Creator Content

1. The Company may take measures related to service use if the criteria specified in the Terms and Conditions, Service Policy, and this Creator Policy are violated to protect Members.

2. If the Company imposes usage restrictions for reasons attributable to Creators, the Creator shall be notified via email in advance. However, in urgent cases where platform operation is obstructed or the platform environment is at risk, notification may be sent afterward.

3. If Creators produce or disclose content that includes the following restricted acts, the content may be subject to temporary measures (such as removal from display, deletion, etc.) and usage restrictions after prior notice.

[Restricted Acts for Creator Services]

1. These restrictions apply to the production and use of all elements included in Creator content (including but not limited to content names, BEACON names, images, music, videos, quest scenarios, designs, etc.).
